The Apus is the latest rope in the EDELRID collection. A rope that complies with both the twin and double rope standard. This makes this the ideal rope for alpine, mixed and extreme mountaineering where every gram counts. Despit have a very low meter weight, of just over 2 kg for a 50 m length, the Apus hold an amazing 20 falls in the double rope test and 8-9 in the twin rope test. This makes the Apus one of the lightest twin ropes on the market with high safety reserves. Treated with the Advanced Shield treatment keeping the rope dry and dirty free. The Termal Stabilisation treatment helps keep the rope supple even after use.
